About NZILAH

We make emerging markets' public opportunities visible and actionable.

NZILAH (in Kikongo language): A trusted path to emerging markets.

NZILAH is the institutional gateway to public tenders, PPP pipelines and bankable projects across emerging and frontier markets — built so foreign investors, local operators and public sponsors can navigate dozens of fragmented markets from one workspace.

Kikongo is a Bantu language spoken by the Kongo people across the DR Congo, the Republic of the Congo, Angola and Gabon.

Mission

Structure public opportunity data to institutional standards.

Public procurement, PPPs and project development pipelines shape the next decade of African infrastructure — yet the information is scattered across dozens of national portals, PDFs and gazettes. Our mission is to normalize that data, verify sources, and present it with the context capital allocators actually need to move from discovery to decision.

Why we exist

Informational fragmentation has a cost.

On emerging and frontier markets, strategic information exists — but it is scattered, unstructured and hard to access. As a result, the right projects rarely meet the right actors, and good decisions come too late.

The problem
Scattered access, hidden costs
  • Information split across portals, PDFs and gazettes
  • Opaque or outdated sponsor and regulatory frameworks
  • Hard to identify credible local partners
  • Excessive qualification time, delayed decisions
Our value
Structure, read, activate
  • Structuring of offers, PPPs and bankable projects
  • Market reading from verified sources
  • Selection of qualified local partners
  • Faster decisions and warm introductions
Socio-economic impact
More projects activated
  • Better circulation of strategic information
  • More opportunities surfaced and brought to market
  • Effective matching between project owners and partners
  • Support to investment and local execution
The problem

Fragmentation, not scarcity, is the bottleneck.

Data lives in 54 disconnected systems

National procurement portals, ministry PDFs and gazettes each use their own format, taxonomy and language.

Foreign investors lack context

PPP framework maturity, sponsor track record and risk grade rarely travel with the tender notice.

Local operators miss deals

Cross-border opportunities never reach qualified operators outside the country's capital.

Sponsors publish once, then wait

Public sponsors have no shared workspace to structure projects, manage inquiries or track interest.

Who it's for

One workspace, three sides of the market.

Foreign investors

Screen and shortlist across markets, assess PPP frameworks and risk grades, request partner introductions.

Local operators

Discover cross-border opportunities, publish a credible profile, express interest with a complete eligibility pack.

Public sponsors

Publish tenders and PPP pipelines with structured metadata, track qualified interest, and manage a public workspace.

What makes us different

A public utility, not a lead broker.

  • Core discovery, documents and intelligence remain public and free.
  • Every listing is normalized to the same schema — comparable across countries and instruments.
  • Sponsors, documents and sources are cross-checked, not scraped-and-listed.
  • Bilingual EN/FR at the platform, listing and document level — not a machine-translated afterthought.
How we verify

How opportunities enter — and stay in — the platform.

  1. 01
    Sourced

Notices are ingested from official national procurement portals, sponsor announcements and DFI project pipelines.

  2. 02
    Normalized

Each listing is mapped to a standard schema — sector, instrument, stage, value, deadlines, eligibility, documents.

  3. 03
    Verified

The sponsor is cross-checked against public registries; the source URL and document set are validated.

  4. 04
    Enriched

Bankability score, risk grade and 'why it matters' briefing are attached before publication.

  5. 05
    Maintained

Deadlines, stage transitions and document changes are re-synced daily; expired listings are archived, not deleted.

Questions we get, answered plainly.

Is the platform official?

NZILAH is an independent platform. We aggregate and structure public information — we don't issue tenders or represent sponsors unless they publish through the platform.

How is it free?

Core discovery, intelligence and document packs are free for all users. Sponsors and premium workspaces fund the platform.

How do you handle errors or outdated notices?

Every listing is re-synced daily and flagged when the source changes. Users can report issues from any opportunity page; corrections are logged with a timestamp.

Do you sell user data?

No. Investor and operator activity stays private. Sponsors see aggregate demand signals, not identified user data, unless a user explicitly expresses interest.
